Spring Break Travel Surpasses Expectations At PDX

PORTLAND, Ore. – Spring Break travel numbers far exceeded expectations at PDX this year.
The airport predicted about 447,000 people would travel between March 18th and April 4th.
However, more than 545,000 travelers took a flight in or out of Portland.
That’s 22 percent higher than expected and 467 percent higher than last year during Spring break.
The busiest day was Friday, March 19th with 37,731 travelers at the airport.
