Lars brings on Patrick Hedger, a Research Fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Center for Technology and Innovation to discuss the progression of the internet since the rollback of net neutrality. Hedger explains that the repealing of the heavy-handed rules net neutrality would have enforced has paved the way for 5G which will increase wireless internet speeds even more.  This puts pressure on wired internet service providers like cable and fiber-optic to increase their speeds to keep up with wireless services.  More and more American’s are connecting to the internet and are closing the digital divide.
