Man Shot & Killed Under Burnside Bridge, Teen Arrested

PORTLAND, Ore. — A man was shot and killed under the Burnside Bridge late Friday morning.
The shooting happened just before noon on Naito Parkway. The man was shot in the neck. Paramedics transported him to a hospital before he passed away.
The victim was identified on Monday afternoon as 33-year-old Fars Gebrehiwot.
18-year-old Rizo Lucas was arrested for Murder in the Second Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
This is the second deadly shooting downtown since Thursday night. It marks the 26th homicide of the year across the city.
