Shooting Threat Delays Classes At Newberg Schools

NEWBERG, Ore. — Classes in Newberg were delayed on Tuesday morning after a social media post caused alarm.

The district says the post included a picture of a handgun with the words “don’t come to school today”.

Police arrested the person who posted it for disorderly conduct.  There’s no word if they are a student.  The weapon was an airsoft gun.

Schools opened two hours late because of the threat.
