Shooting Apparently Leads To Crash In Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. — A person apparently crashed their vehicle after being shot behind the wheel in Portland early Friday morning.
The car crashed into a tree near Cesar Chavez Blvd. and Northeast Couch Street just before 2:30am.
Police found what appeared to be bullet holes in the exterior of the crashed vehicle and bullet casings near the intersection at Belmont.
The person shot is expected to survive. A second person inside the vehicle was injured in the crash.
