Portland, Oregon – The Portland Boat House needs a new home. After nearly 20-years the program is being forced out of its spot along the Willamette. It currently houses five different rowing and paddling clubs, high school athletes, dragon boat teams, and others. But the owner of the property is refusing to continue leasing the space, even though they offered to pay market rent prices.
They tell KGW they have until the end of August to move all their equipment out. They’re still looking for a permanent home.
