Ready to Celebrate Seafood Month?

You’ll probably hear a lot about sustainable fishing for the next few weeks.  October is National Seafood Month and a Portland-based grocery chain is trying to educate people about “certified seafood”.   New Season’s Market has been around since 2000 and has teamed up with the Aquaculture Stewardship Council and Riverence from Idaho and invited the media to try several farm-raised Trout dishes.   I was lucky enough to get an invite.  The food was outstanding!   Trout Tostada’s, Trout Po’ Boy, and Trout Chowder.
