Portland, Or. – A rally will be held at Pioneer Courthouse Square tomorrow afternoon to show support for a Wilsonville teenager battling cancer. Kylee Dixon’s mom, Christina turned to holistic care after becoming unhappy with Kylee’s doctors. The State Department of Human Services intervened. The mom and daughter took off and were located Thursday in Nevada. Kylee has been taken into state custody.

Monica Klein who lives in Springfield is organizing tomorrow’s event. She says she doesn’t know the family. She learned about their story on Facebook and has been following updates for the last few weeks. She says the rally is to stand with ” her and her Mom just to let them know that, you know,  we’re here and we’re not going to just let this get swept under the rug.”

The rally begins at 1 p.m.
