Protesters Breach Gate Governor’s Mansion Olympia

OLYMPIA, Wa.—Governor Jay Inslee and his wife were at home when protesters came through the gates and stayed on the grounds for about 20 minutes.  Washington State Patrol was able to herd the crowd  after some got as close as the front door.  Governor Inslee said,”We’re safe thank you to all concerned about us.” No arrests were made.

WSP is working on a plan to keep the State Capitol safe next week when the legislative session begins.
