Powell’s Closed Wednesday In Recognition Of George Floyd

PORTLAND, Ore. – All Powell’s locations are closed Wednesday.

The iconic bookstore says the closures are in recognition and in memory of George Floyd.

The store will return to normal hours Thursday.

Any employee who was scheduled to work Wednesday will still be paid.
