Portland’s Unemployment Rate Ticks Down To 3.8 Percent

PORTLAND, Ore. – The unemployment rate in the Portland-Metro area dropped from 3.9 percent in February to 3.8 percent in March.

That’s thanks to employers adding about 2,600 jobs.

The region has now regained 83 percent of the jobs lost at the start of the pandemic.
