Portland’s Unemployment Rate Essentially Unchanged

PORTLAND, Ore. – The unemployment rate in the Portland-metro area ticked down from 3.9 percent in January to 3.8 percent in February.

Employers added just over 6,000 jobs last month.

The area has now regained 82 percent of the jobs lost at the start of the pandemic.
