Portland’s Unemployment Rate Drops

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland metro-area’s unemployment has dropped from 4.7 percent in September to 4.3 percent last month.

That’s thanks to employers adding 6,500 jobs.

The area has now regained about 72 percent of the jobs lost at the start of the pandemic.
