Portland Schools May Be Learning From Its Own Mistakes

Parents and students have abandoned government-run schools in droves the last few years.

Ridiculous shutdowns, using the pandemic as an excuse awakened parents to the reality: your kids aren’t learning but they’re being indoctrinated on everything from politics to perversity.

Now, the most unlikely school district strikes back.

Portland Public schools, ordinarily the very definition of woke, has banned teachers from bringing their personal, political and sexual agendas to classrooms.

Who woulda thunk it?

The new rule went in last month and saw its first enforcement days ago.

Teacher Jeremy Reinhold posted his pro Hamas “stop the genocide” garbage on the wall…and PPS took it down.

All of this comes about a year after the Portland Association of Teachers labor union published a study guide on pro-Hamas Palestinians encouraging students to pray to Allah.  That didn’t go over well.

Now the union has filed a grievance against removal of the “genocide” posters and enforcement of the new rule.

The union seems desperate to protect teachers proselytizing your kids…even if they don’t learn much reading, writing and ‘rithmatic.
