Portland Police Conducting Homicide Investigation After Person Suffers From Gunshot Wound To Chest

Saturday night around 8:45 p.m. Portland Police officers heard sounds of gunfire near Southeast 3rd Avenue and Southwest Alder Street.
Police say they responded and found a victim with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim was pronounced dead.
Police say as of now, they aren’t releasing any suspect information.
Police say that now a homicide investigation is underway.
