Police Say Man Found Dead In North Portland Was Murdered

PORTLAND, Ore. — Police have identified the person who was found dead in North Portland on Wednesday morning.
Investigators say 20-year-old Gabriel Rivera was shot at North Columbia Boulevard and Bank Street. His death has been ruled a homicide. Officers responded to a welfare check in the area around 7:00am.
Rivera is the 48th murder in Portland this year.
There is no word on a suspect.
