Pedestrian Dies In Hit & Run Crash On Division

PORTLAND, Ore. — A man who died in a hit and run in Southeast Portland last week has been identified.

46-year-old Patrick Bishop was hit on Division Street near 66th Avenue around 12:30 on the morning of March 3rd.

The driver who police say took off from the scene, 23-year-old Dorie Chhit, was arrested for felony hit and run.

Bishop is the 14th person killed in a traffic crash in the city this year and the 8th pedestrian to lose their life.
