PDX MLB Cuts a Labor Deal

Portland Ore -The Portland Diamond Project has signed a labor agreement, despite not having a team yet. The group pushing to bring a Major League baseball team to Portland says the agreement with the Oregon Arm of the American Federation of Labor covers concessions, retail, maintenance, media and more.

The announcement was made at an event with Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler, County Chair Deborah Kafoury, people from the Portland Diamond Project and Oregon AFL-CIO President Tom Chamberlain.
