OSP Troopers To Help Police Patrol Downtown Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. – Help is coming to downtown Portland.

Oregon Governor Tina Kotek is directing Oregon State Police to help Portland police patrol the downtown area.

OSP Troopers will start working with the Portland Police Bike Patrol.

The focus will be on fentanyl, guns, stolen cars, and other felonies.

The goal is to increase visibility and reduce crime.
