Original Member Of The Trail Blazers Dies

PORTLAND, Ore. – An original member of the Trail Blazers has died.
Although Shaler Halimon only played in Portland during the team’s inaugural 1970-1971 season, he called Oregon home after his playing career.
He would later become a driver for Trimet.
He also worked for the Blazers as part of the team’s Alumni Program.
He was 76.
