Oregon’s Weekly COVID-19 Report Shows Good News

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Oregon Health Authority’s weekly COVID-19 report released Wednesday shows very good news.
During the week of Monday, May 17th through Sunday, May 23rd, new daily cases decreased 25 percent from the previous week, hospitalizations fell from 265 to 224, and deaths were down from 57 to 34.
The state’s percentage of positive tests fell from 6.4 percent to 5.4 percent.
