Oregon’s Unemployment Rate Drops To Lowest Number Since March 2020

PORTLAND, Ore. – Oregon’s unemployment rate dropped from 4 percent in February to 3.8 percent in March.

That’s the lowest number since March 2020, when it was 3.5 percent.

The good news is thanks to Oregon adding 5,600 non-farm jobs last month.

The only major industry to cut a substantial number of jobs was professional and business services.
