Oregon’s Tuesday COVID-19 Count: 411 New Cases, 1 More Death

PORTLAND, Ore. — Tuesday’s COVID numbers from the Oregon Health Authority show 411 new cases and one additional death.

The state’s case total this week has hit more than 150,000.  The most new cases were reported in Multnomah County with 134.

The death toll stands at 2,138.  An 85-year-old man in Marion County with underlying conditions died on Sunday, one week after being diagnosed with the virus.

There are 15 fewer people hospitalized with the virus than yesterday at 195.  51 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care.

Oregonians have received more than 691,000 first and second doses of one of the vaccines with 198,000 fully vaccinated.
