Oregon Sees Downward Trend Of COVID-19

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Oregon Health Authority Wednesday reports a downward trend of COVID-19 in the state.

During the week of August 10th through August 16th, 1,963 cases were recorded.

That’s down from 2,122 the week before.

Also, reported deaths last week were down 8 from the week before.

And hospitalizations of confirmed cases were down to 115 from 143 the week before.

The state’s positivity rate remains stable at 5.4 percent.
