Oregon Sees A 5th Straight Week Of COVID-19 Surges

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Oregon Health Authority’s weekly COVID-19 report shows a 5th straight week of surging daily cases and hospitalizations.

From Monday, April 19th through Sunday, April 27th, the state saw a 21 percent increase in daily cases and hospitalizations doubled from 171 to 333.

There were also 26 reported COVID-19 related deaths.

Oregon’s percentage of positive tests was 6 percent.
