Oregon Legislature May Roll Two Gun Bills Into One

SALEM, Ore– Senate Bill 554 would allow all local governments statewide to ban holders of concealed weapons permits from bringing guns into public buildings.  Part of House Bill 2510 may be added to that bill.  It would require gun owners to use a gun safe or other locked container to store guns.  A trigger lock is also an alternative.   Two more public hearings will take place before the legislature makes a decision.
