Oregon Football Player Spencer Webb Dies In Diving Accident

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon Ducks tight end Spencer Webb has been killed in a diving accident.
The Sacramento Bee says the six-foot-six star football player died Wednesday afternoon while cliff-diving near Triangle Lake west of Eugene.
The Lane County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook that paramedics were unable to revive the 22-year-old, who was found 100 yards down a steep trail.
The post said there was no evidence of foul play and his death appears to be accidental.
Spencer Webb was expected to be a starter for the Oregon Ducks this fall.
