Oregon City Shooting Suspect In Custody

Oregon City, Ore. – An Oregon City man is behind bars after shooting his roommate at the Mt. View Apartments Friday afternoon. Police responded, but the man had locked himself in the unit. Officers saw the victim in a bedroom, broke out the window, and were able to evacuate him without knowing where the gunman was. The victim has been taken to OHSU with life-threatening injuries. Police then used gas in order to get the suspect out. He ended up walking out the back exit, but was still not cooperating. Officers used non-lethal weapons and were able to take him in to custody.
