ODOT: Valley, No. Coast – OR 164 (Jefferson Highway) is closed at milepost 5 following a four vehicle crash that caused a power pole to fall with a live powerline over the vehicles. The utility company is on the scene and turning off the power. The highway will be closed for several hours for recovery of the vehicles and for repairing the power line. There is no easy detour in place. Travelers will want to avoid the area, use an alternative route or expect long delays.
