New Food Cart Area Opens In Style In Happy Valley

HAPPY VALLEY, Ore.–   Happy Valley Station officially opened today with a ribbon cutting ceremony.  23 state of the art food carts surround the pavilion and 3 additional vendors are inside.  Up to 450 people can dine there.  Beer, wine, gelato and espresso drinks are served in the covered area.  There’s also a learning an play are for children.

Valerie Hunter owner, has always been a trailblazer 3 years ago she started to work to change the zoning so she could move ahead with this daring adventure.  She says,” People thought I was crazy.  Now  that people see what my vision was, they call it the smartest thing they’ve ever heard. ”

These carts are powered by natural gas and not propane.  The distance between them is greater than what you see in Portland .  Hunter intends to keep everything looking well kept so neighbors won’t complain and instead will be happy to take their friends to a place that will be come known for great food from carts in the suburbs.
