Morrison Bridge Lights Up In Support Of Ukraine

PORTLAND, Ore. — The lights on the Morrison Bridge are shining blue and yellow this week in support of Ukraine.

Multnomah County Chair Deborah Kafoury directed the county to turn on the bridge’s display nightly through Sunday.

“This display is a small but visible way that Multnomah County can show our support for the people of Ukraine, as well as our Ukrainian friends and neighbors in the community. Our hearts are with them,” said Chair Deborah Kafoury, who made the request. “We stand in solidarity with all who are hoping or working to see peace restored in Ukraine.”

The Willamette Light Brigade rents out the lights on the Morrison Bridge, which is the only one in the county that can display colored lights.
