More Than 550,000 Doses Of COVID-19 Vaccines Administered At Oregon Convention Center

PORTLAND, Ore. – The final tally is in from the mass vaccination site at the Oregon Convention Center.

Since operations began in late January and until they ended on Saturday, more than 550,000 COVID-19 vaccination shots were administered to nearly 293,000 people.

The site was run jointly by Kaiser Permanente, Legacy Health, OHSU, and Providence.

ALL4OREGON FINAL TALLY – MORE THAN 550,000 VACCINATIONS FOR NEARLY 293,000 PEOPLE

The final numbers are in, and the team at the All4Oregon Mass Vaccination Site at the Oregon Convention Center is celebrating more than 550,000 COVID-19 vaccinations given. Saturday was the final day for the site, which was jointly operated by Kaiser Permanente, Legacy Health, OHSU and Providence.
“I feel we did something historic here and really made a difference in our community,” said Chris Markesino, operations chief for the mass vaccination site. In addition to thanking staff and volunteers, Markesino thanked their families as well, “because I know the families endured a lot of time missing their loved ones.”
The site began operations in late January. During the past five months, it served nearly 293,000 people.
