McMinnville, Ore.–Yamhill County District Attorney Brad Barry revealed to reporters that 25 year old Karissa Fretwell and her 3 year old son Billy were found together dead on Weyhauser property 10 miles West of Yamhill City.   The pair were partially covered with grass an brush.  This was the second time this location had been searched.  After 20 search warrants Barry felt confident to say that a gun had been found connected to the case.  It was found at another location shortly after the mother and her young son went missing.  Barry says, “Finding the bodies strengthens the case against Michael Wolfe, Billy’s Biological Dad.”  Michael Wolfe was arrested 11 days after Karissa and Billy weren’t found.  He was charged with aggravated murder and kidnap.  The Weyhauser property is familiar to Wolfe who often hunted and fished there.

Karissa died of a single gunshot wound to the head.  We won’t know how Billy was killed for a few more weeks.  Michael Wolfe will be arraigned on Friday.
