Montana Man Accused Of Threatening Walmart Shoppers In Newport

NEWPORT, Ore. – A Montana man is under arrest after allegedly threatening Walmart shoppers with a machete in Newport.

Police say 36-year-old Timothy Craft was in a fight in the parking lot before going inside the store, grabbing the machete from a display, and then going back outside and threatening people with it.

He was arrested after dropping the machete and running back inside the store.
