Missing Alzheimer’s Patient Found Dead In Gales Creek

FOREST GROVE, Ore. — Searchers found the body of 79-year-old Tom Tanous in Gales Creek near Highway 47 on Thursday afternoon, about one mile from where he was last seen.
Tanous had Alzheimer’s and walked away from the Hawthorne House Care Facility on 21st and Hawthorne this past Tuesday night.
The medical examiner does not suspect foul play.
