Milwaukie Man Fatally Pinned By Truck In NW Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. — A man died in a tragic accident in Northwest Portland on Monday afternoon when he was pinned by a work truck while helping his co-worker park the vehicle.
Jose Romero-Ramirez, 52, of Milwaukie, was pinned between the back of the truck and a large tree on Northwest 23rd Avenue near Everett just after 1:00pm.
An ambulance crew happened to be passing by the scene and started CPR immediately, but Romero-Ramirez passed away shortly after.
