Man Threatens To Stab Parade Goers In Newport

Newport, Or. – Scary moments Sunday at Newport’s Loyalty Days parade. A guy walked up to a large group of people and said he was going to stab them all in the head. Police say 34 year old Michael Garrett from Berkeley, California had a metal pick. Two men grabbed him and held onto him until police arrived. He faces charges of menacing, disorderly conduct and unlawful use of a weapon.
