Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash In NE Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. — A man crashed his motorcycle at Northeast 87th and Glisan on Wednesday morning.  He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died despite lifesaving efforts.

The man has been identified as 43-year-old David Wickham.  Traffic investigators have not said what caused him to crash or what he collided with.

This is the 12th traffic fatality in the city this year; the second this month involving a motorcycle.
