In Centralia, Washington on any Saturday you will see a few people holding signs in the downtown area. Their message is simple: “We want peace”. The group is organized by Larry Kerschner, who served as a combat infantryman in the Vietnam War. KXL’s Veronica Carter happened to see the group and talked to them about what they hope to achieve. Kerschner says the bottom line comes down to “spend money on roads and bridges, not nukes”.
