Linn County Man Convicted For Sex Crimes Dies In Prison

ONTARIO, Ore. – A Linn County man jailed for multiple sex crimes has died behind bars.

65-year-old Phillip Wagner was sentenced to the Snake River Correctional Institution in 2015 and was scheduled to be released in 2039.

The Oregon Department of Corrections says he died while in hospice care.
