Lincoln City Is Coming Together To Help Fire Evacuees

Lincoln City is coming together to help those impacted by the Echo Mountain Fire. The Lincoln City emergency management team has partnered with volunteers to open two storefronts at the Lincoln City Outlets (1500 SE East Devils Lake Rd, Lincoln City) for fire evacuees.

The goal of the storefronts is to create a longer term centralized donation location for evacuees to come and get what they need, for free. The store will have non perishable food, clothing, toiletries, blankets and more.

Kelly Ellis with Lincoln City Young Life is running the store and organizing volunteers. They spent the day sorting donations and getting the store ready to open.

The stores will be located in the old LOFT location of the outlet mall. It will open for Echo Fire evacuees today until 6 p.m. Starting on Thursday, the store will be open Mon. – Sat. from 10 a.m. -6 p.m. and Sundays from 2 – 6 p.m.
