PORTLAND, Ore. – Lane County has been added to the State’s COVID-19 County Watch List.
Governor Kate Brown says cases are rapidly increasing in the area and public health officials can’t link them to specific sources.
Benton, Clatsop, Malheur, and Umatilla Counties all remain on the list this week.
Lane County has been added to the Watch List. There is a definite connection between COVID-19 spread and social gatherings––whether an off-campus party or a small family gathering. Stopping the spread will take the whole community working together. pic.twitter.com/pklsfcZaQk — Governor Kate Brown (@OregonGovBrown) October 16, 2020
