Landslide On Historic Columbia River Highway

CORBETT, Ore. — The Historic Columbia River Highway was closed on Saturday night between Multnomah Falls and Bridal Veil due to a landslide.

Geologists were out there on Sunday morning assessing the situation.  The highway has re-opened after the slide was cleaned up and the area deemed to be safe.

This slide happened in the same area as previous slides.  There has been lots of rain in the area and the hillside is very steep.
