Kittens Rescued From Fire

Part of a litter of kittens and one adult cat were rescued by Clark County Firefighters.

Wednesday afternoon a homeowner left their house on NW 34th quickly after calling 9-1-1. The fire had broken out on the second floor. Firefighters did CPR on a second cat that didn’t make it. Several kittens died too. The fire was out in about 12 minutes. The Red Cross offered shelter for the family and their pets. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
