King County Investigating Presumptive Case Of Monkeypox

(Seattle, WA) — A man in King County has tested positive for Monkeypox.

King County Public Health says the patient is recovering at home.

He recently traveled to a country where there are known cases of Monkeypox.

There were no high risk exposures and health officials are working to contact people who were exposed to the patient.

In the U.S., there have been one confirmed and four other presumptive cases of Monkeypox.
