Interstate 84 Closed Due To Treacherous Driving Conditions

TROUTDALE, Ore. — The Oregon Department of Transportation closed a 45-mile stretch of Interstate 84 between Troutdale and Hood River amid dangerous weather conditions on Friday night.

The interstate will only re-open when it is safe to do so.

ODOT cautioned drivers with a warning: “If you must travel this weekend expect delays, watch the forecast, plan ahead, carry chains and know how to use them.”
