Portland, Ore. – All lanes of I-5 North are now free-and-clear after a crash involving a semi-and-a-pickup truck, tied up traffic during the Halloween evening commute. Police say the semi spilled about a hundred gallons of diesel fuel onto the freeway near Killingsworth. All northbound and two southbound lanes were closed for over three hours. ODOT mopped up the fuel and re-opened the freeway just after 9pm last night.
All lanes of NB I-5 are closed at Killingsworth Street after a crash and diesel spill. We expect a lengthy closure as crews clean up the spill. Motorists should find an alternate route or expect significant delays. #PDXtraffic
