High Schooler is a Hero for Those in Need

Hunter Bledsoe is a sophomore at Hockinson High School in Brush Prairie, Washington.  He’s also our KXL EVERDAY HERO for his effort to feed the needy in his community.  He organizes a food drive every year, and his goal for 2024 is 2500 food items.  Last year he gathered 1900.   He’s started a GO FUND ME to raise money to buy food because he says often people donate things that are expired, or close to expiring.  Hunter thinks food drives are great, but notices a lot of the food that gets donated isn’t exactly appetizing or healthy.  He says the quality of food is something that’s very important to him.
