Happy 10th Anniversary, Coraline

Hillsboro, Or. – Hillsboro based Laika Studio’s first stop motion animated movie, Coraline is celebrating its 10th anniversary.¬†¬†Laika is teaming up with Oregon Film and Travel Oregon to offer six public screenings in historic theaters around the state. The first screening is tonight at 7 pm at the Hollywood Theater in NE Portland.

Coraline premiered at the Portland International Film Festival in February of 2009. Laika President and CEO, Travis Knight says “we will always have a deep love and affection for Coraline because it paved the way for the rest of our films.”

Tickets to the shows are $10. Proceeds will go to wildfire recovery efforts.
