Hillsboro, Or. – Hillsboro based Laika Studio’s first stop motion animated movie, Coraline is celebrating its 10th anniversary.  Laika is teaming up with Oregon Film and Travel Oregon to offer six public screenings in historic theaters around the state. The first screening is tonight at 7 pm at the Hollywood Theater in NE Portland.

Coraline premiered at the Portland International Film Festival in February of 2009. Laika President and CEO, Travis Knight says “we will always have a deep love and affection for Coraline because it paved the way for the rest of our films.”

Tickets to the shows are $10. Proceeds will go to wildfire recovery efforts.
