Money connected to “what ‘appears to be an Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring,'” was funneled through a Hunter Biden co-founded investment firm.
The New York Post reports the detail was part of an 87-page Senate Republican investigation report released Wednesday into presidential hopeful Joe Biden’s son and the younger Biden’s dealings with Ukraine.
The report says Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, widow of former Moscow mayor Yury Luzhkov, and one of the richest women in Russia.
9 other transfers, made to now bankrupt BAK USA, were first funneled through Hunter Biden’s Rosemont Seneca Thornton investment firm. Described as “Loan Agreement” payments, the transfers totaled about $250,000. The report didn’t detail what the $3.5M transfer was for.
The report also says Obama administration officials voiced concerns at the time.
